Mathieu Garon earned his first shutout of the year as he backstopped the Blue Jackets to a 2-0 win over the Phoenix Coyotes. Garon was solid for the Jackets, making some key saves to preserve the win.
Garon should see 20 games or so this year as Mason’s backup.
