The San Jose Sharks finally consummated the long awaited trade for disgruntled winger Dany Heatley. Heatley, along with a 5th round selection, was shipped to the Shark in exchange for wingers Milan Michalek, Jonathan Cheechoo and a 2nd round draft pick.
Given the circumstances this is not a bad return for Heatley. Regardless, the Sharks get the best player in the deal. The prospect of Heatley lining up with the dynamic Joe Thornton has poolies everywhere salivating. Look for Heatley to rebound to and score 50+ this year.
